Message from our Principal
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! As your vibrant instructional leader; I am Bringing Reality and Newness to Learning while Enhancing Young Minds (B.R.A.N.T.L.E.Y.). For the last twenty years of my academic journey, my philosophy of learning has consistently placed my scholars as my primary focus. I remain an advocate that each student will succeed based on his or her learning and academic abilities with guidance, creativity, consistency, equity, and motivation. Each day represents a NEW day to instill confidence and advancement into the scholars and staff's lives.
With the start of a new year, there always exist the opportunity to refine our practices as educators alongside a renewing of our purpose. Our number one goal is to ensure our students are capable of embracing the ever-changing 21st-century world with the tools and resources needed to be successful. Every day our scholars will be exposed to standard-based learning; engaged in relevant, meaningful, and interactive activities; and empowered to demonstrate their critical thinking skills and maximize their potential.
Furthermore, I remain a proponent of promoting parental/guardian involvement. You represent an integral part of the school! Our school year will be EXCITING and ELEVATING because of your help, leadership, and support. I have an open-door policy. There are several parental/guardian events planned this year and our success will be determined by YOU! I significantly appreciate you in advance for everything you are going to do for the 2020-2021 school year!
